Boyfriend Jeans Outfit
Zara dress (worn as a top)
One Teaspoon boyfriend jeans
Tom Ford sunglasses
Boyfriend jeans! The perfect jeans if you want to look casual but can definitely take it up a notch by wearing heels. I wore this outfit to check out the Nuuanu Pali Lookout. Isn’t that view gorgeous? Just beware of the bees. There were a lot buzzing around. But back to the outfit, this pair is from One Teaspoon that I got from the Honolulu Night Market via House of Aria. The wash is perfect. The distressed look is perfect. It was the last pair and I HAD to get it which is unlike me because I tend to gravitate towards dresses. Plus it was 50% off the original price! Score! I’m actually looking for another good pair. I think Zara has a few at the moment. The top that I’m wearing is really a dress from 2009 that I bought on sale. The heels were also discounted from Zara. Not only that, but my sunnies were from the Solstice Sunglass Outlet from Waikele. Talk about discounted outfit! The only thing I bought that wasn’t on sale was the leather backpack from Zara.
But anyway, here’s my attempt to finding my “middle ground” when it comes to dressing up. I’m that type of lady who is either in a pretty dress or in shorts. There’s no in-between. I think it’s just the nature of living in Hawaii. As I like to say,”dresses all day, everyday”. It’s just easier to wear a dress when it’s always sunny and hot (and plus it’s been humid here lately ugh humidity). I used to have a middle ground when I lived in California but I no longer do. The weather just does not permit me to layer which is a bummer because I love layering. I also have work clothes which is completely uninspiring and then there’s the shorts. I have a pair of distressed jean shorts and then running shorts. I could dress it up and wear heels but the only reason why I would be in shorts is because I would be at the beach and when I’m at the beach, I’m wearing flip flops (or as the locals call it here, slippers). So here’s to challenging myself to wear something other than a dress. I’m not going to lie, you’ll probably see me wearing dresses still.
So where do you get your boyfriend jeans from? And what do you absolutely love to pair with it to make an amazing outfit?
